Increasing Oaklands website traffic by 124%

Oaklands are a family run Leicester based business established in 1911, providing luxury bathrooms and kitchens, in Leicestershire. They had invested time and money in a new website to showcase their services but it was not ranking for any of their key words and therefore not being found or working as a marketing tool for then generating enquiries.

The Background

They came to us with this problem looking for a search engine optimisation strategy which would solve it for them.

The Challenge

The first stage was to audit their site to give us a picture of its strengths and weaknesses and how it was sitting against their competitors. 

We found a website which was behind its competitors and only ranking for one keyword and this was only on page two of Google. We then set to work researching keywords, optimising pages and building backlinks all of which was part of a robust strategy to gain authority and move the site up the rankings.

The Result

In just five months we moved them onto page one for five of their main keywords, plus we’ve moved other keywords that were previously not even found onto page two and these are moving up each month. Prior to working with us they were previously never recognised for construction or building (key sectors) but we’ve worked on that and now they are getting traffic for this new service. Organic Traffic has now increased by 124%.
