Independent Freight is an international freight forwarding business, based in the Midlands but working globally – importing and exporting goods for their clients to every corner of the planet.

From surveying their clients we identified that we needed to increase communication around freight and global customs issues and to work on their site to increase traffic via Search Engine Optimisation.

Each month, we communicate content to their database to promote key topics around freight to raise awareness of what is going on and keeping their clients and prospects informed – particularly with Brexit causing a number of worries for their clients.
Using marketing automation, we’ve been able to send more relevant content to clients that have been interested in particular promotions around sea and air-freight.
The search engine optimisation has increased organic traffic by 450%, overall engagement with the site has massively increased and new leads have enquired via the contact form. The open rates and click through for emails are really healthy for a client in their sector – and lapsed clients have returned as a result.
