OUR CREATIVE PROCESSS

What was the problem?

Each year, G Adventures produce 8 Main Brochure titles for both their UK, European & South African Markets. The brochures have complex requirements in terms of cover versions, text versions & currency changes and also included a 16pp Insert that was bound into each brochure in a set position This year’s brochures showcased some special cover finishes, using a soft touch varnish and gloss spot UV text to the outer covers.

G Adventures also attended 4 events In Manchester and London. Trident hold stock of Furniture, TV Monitor, Promotional items as well as some of their main brochures. We coordinate with a local Courier to pick, pack and deliver to each event. The items are delivered to the correct stand and collected as soon as the Event has finished. The returned items are checked, counted and returned to the Warehouse ready for future call off’s

How did we delight them?

Trident attended a pre-production meeting with the Canadian design team plus both London and Europe marketing departments to talk through all the years requirements, to highlight any potential issues and to advise how we can produce the brochures in the most cost-effective way. We use our extensive knowledge of the market to place these jobs with the best suited Factory

A spreadsheet, that was shared between all parties, was used to update brochure qty’s, spec’s and schedules, As soon as artwork production was underway we attended weekly ‘Zoom’ meetings to talk through any updates to spec’s and schedules, This allowed us to hit all of our print slots and delivery dates. All files and documents were shared within the team via Google Docs

The Trident Studio reworked the supplied covers artwork, adding partner logos and CTA’s. In total 77 different covers were created. The brochures were produced in 2 UK Factories, both of which we place a huge amount of work with throughout the year, and run to very high standards. The packing and delivery of each brochure title were very specific and we shipped brochures to UK, Germany, Ireland and South Africa using our Freight Forwarding Partner – Independent Freight.

In total 245,558 brochures were produced over 8 titles, 77 cover versions and 22 text versions. We processed and proofed 6,898 pages!
