OUR CREATIVE PROCESSS

What was the problem?

NB Financial Solutions are a business who offer professional financial advice specialising in a range of services from investment planning to savings.

They first contacted us in December 2017 to support on developing the company’s brand for 2018 to align with their continued business growth and prestige. Over recent years they have seen growth across the company and wanted to marry the personality, approach to work and professionalism they have to new company branding, website and business documentation.

Along with a new look and feel for their business, there was also a deeper exploration around a new, truer, tone of voice that represented the personality of the company and their service in the right way.

How did we delight them?

Understanding – Through a series of workshop sessions, we gathered a deeper understanding of the business. Together we identified the core business issues with their current branding, website, the overall profile of the business and how they were currently communicating to their customers.

Ultimately, their brand appearance didn’t match their personality or the way they operated which was a fundamental issue to solve.

Rebranding – We wanted to take the personality of the business owners and represent this across their branding, giving the business an identity that would be both premium and meaningful. Working up various options that represented different facets of the company, we landed on ‘Bevans’, a simple yet powerful name for the company founded and run by Neil Bevan.

Taking the family name provided an assurity and familiar understanding of the business, its mission and their way of working for their existing client base. Our design team set about bringing this brand to life with a scripted font style, supported by the new mantra; Shaping Your Future. This was visually accompanied by a halfmoon design feature that embodied the strapline and connotations of a ‘new horizon’ in financial support.

Logo Development

Website – Adapting on the new branding, we then set out to bring this to life with a new website to communicate their philosophy and services. We designed a visually appealing scrolling homepage with easy navigation. Stripping back on the overload of information from their previous website, aiming to deliver key and relevant detail.

We portrayed the business mantra throughout the imagery on the website, using lifestyle imagery throughout to paint a picture of relaxation; a feeling important to the company as they want their clients relaxed in the knowledge that their finances are in capable hands.

As well as the design of the website, we’re improving the SEO on a monthly basis making the site easy to find on organic search, gathering analytics for further optimisation.

Print – To finish off the rebrand we brought the branding to life with new documentation to help run the business. New business cards and letterheads were designed to help run the day to day with other items in the pipeline to help with business communications and conversions.

HOW’D IT DO?

Bevans’ clients have been impressed with the new branding, look and feel of the website commenting that it represented the business in a more premium light. The website is cleaner and more concise with easy-to-navigate functionality for information and relevant detail for the business services.

In it’s initial launch, the website has seen an increase in traffic with users staying on the site longer to engage with the information.

How’d it do – Take a look around the new website and see for yourself, www.bevansfinance.co.uk
